RTH Signature Event: Sam’s ROCKING Bar Mitzvah

Cleveland has been deemed as “The Birthplace of Rock N’ Roll” ever since Alan Freed first coined the phrase in the 1950s. While that may have already been 60 years ago, the spirit of the music still lives on just as it always has in our great city. Young Sam Heller couldn’t help but feel the same way, and decided the only true place he wanted his bar mitzvah was not only in the rock and roll city, but at the epicenter of it; The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Take a look at how we at Rock The House were able to ROCK Sam’s Simcha, providing him and his guests with an evening full of incredible fun and great memories!

It was the direction of the Joe Mineo Creative team that really brought the night to life, transforming the Rock Hall into the party of the year! Sam’s celebration started with one of our rockstar DJs and one of our signature Ultimate Video Dance Party setups, with wireless LED uplights, strobe lighting, 70″ monitors, and truss structures transforming the dance floor into an ocean of light and sound. Guests were kept entertained both on and off the dance floor with a series of multiplayer, interactive games; Including RTH favorites such as Rockshots, RTH Game Show Mania, and even giant versions of classic games such as Jenga, Connect 4, Pick-Up Sticks, and Scrabble. Another hit attraction was the new RTH Coinless Claw Machine, which allowed guests to test their skills and attempt to win themselves an additional party favor! Rock The House also provided a custom photo opportunity, bringing in one of our professional photographers to take beautiful portraits of the guests. As the night continued on, guests enjoyed musical entertainment courtesy of The Pella Singers, and some fine cuisine catered by the 5-star staff from Executive Caterers.

Throwing parties for a living may seem redundant after a while, but never for us at Rock The House! It brings us quite a bit of joy to be continually called upon to provide great celebrations for Sam’s family. The 2nd in his family to have their Simcha ROCKED, we always enjoy the challenge of thinking up fresh and exciting party options to create the best night possible for the family. Incredible Team, Incredible Results: A Cleveland Bar Mitzvah Success Story

Riddle me this: What’s blue and orange and FUN all over? A successful Bar Mitzvah at Porsche of Beachwood, of course! This high-end party was produced by creative visionary, Joe Mineo, of Something New Events in Canfield, Ohio and he decided to bring Rock The House along for the ride!

On May 23, 2015, Porsche of Beachwood was transformed from a luxury car dealership to a colorful, high-energy explosion of creative décor, entertainment, lighting, food, family, and friends. Rock The House provided DJ entertainment, staging, lighting, and Rock Shots Ultimate Basketball Pop A Shot Rental (our newest 4 player interactive digital basketball game).

Lead technician and DJ for the night, Alex Kay, was able to paint a great picture for us of the extravagant lighting display Rock The House created: “We suspended a 90’ truss spine in the middle of the ceiling which spanned almost the entire length of the service bay. We were able to use this as a base for various moving lights, TVs, and fog machines, which added a lot of depth and dimension to the room. The truss spine really created a complete environment and made the entire room feel like a party!”

Our energetic and enthusiastic entertainment team was the perfect for this unique event and offered a great mix of interaction and excitement for all age groups present. With a plethora of activities from photo booths and tattoos to the ice cream truck for dessert there was no way to have anything less than a GREAT time!

Lead by the amazing team at Something New Events along with the support of fellow vendors Rock The House, RED The Steakhouse/Moxie, and Steve Hacker, this Bar Mitzvah was certainly an event to be remembered!

Simchapalooza 2012

6th Annual Event Planner Showcase

On November 4th, 2012 Cleveland area companies and families had a chance to check out some of the best event industry vendors in the region once again at Simchapalooza. This event was free for guests and raises money for the Greater Cleveland Chapter of Hadassah. Organized by Sherri Foxman’s Party 411 Events and the Cleveland Jewish News and sponsored by Rock The House Entertainment, this year’s event drew over 800 guests to Signature of Solon.

Rock The House had a blast in our entertainment room!

The chance for our MC, DJ, and dancers to interact with attendees young and old is something we look forward to each year. This 20 second clip shows that everyone was invited to dance!

This event had a lot of great interactive elements that elevated the event beyond a trade show. Our sales team was really impressed with our prospective clients who were willing to come to this event specifically to book Rock The House for their upcoming events. The word is out on this event in the community!

Raising money for Hadassah is important to us and one of the main reasons we have an elevated level of participation at this event. Founder/Owner of Rock The House, Matt Radicelli had this to say about the event:

Cleveland DJs celebrate a Pajama Themed Bat Mitzvah

Cleveland Bar/Bat Mitzvah DJs Rock The House helped Lindsay celebrate the special occasion at the Solon Community Center. The Rock The House DJ / MC team brought unparalleled entertainment to Lindsay’s event. Our DJs are trained to read the crowd and have music knowledge that would make your head spin! These guys LOVE music of all kinds and they knew what this group would react to. Our Emcee was a true master of ceremonies in every sense of the word. Even though everyone was in pajamas, no one was ready to go to sleep and let this party die down!

To make sure everyone is having the most fun possible, our Party Motivators made sure everyone had the best time on the dance floor. Our dancers are a group with unprecedented skills. Graffiti Rock was also a big hit with all the kids at the party. The photo technician first took a picture, then featured it on a big screen were you could “spray paint” over and change the picture however you wanted! It was a truly great addition to an already stellar party.

Eric Got Rocked at Barley House with our Event Lighting!

AJ’s Bar Mitzvah at Barley House in Beachwood, Ohio was an exciting one! The Rock The House DJ / MC team brought entertainment to all guests with one of the most fun packages – The Video Dance Party. The Rock The House Video Dance Party brings another element to the dance floor. It gives our DJs the ability to play music videos of the songs being played as well as the chance to put the excitement of the night’s dance floor on the big screen.

To make sure everyone is having the most fun possible, our Party Motivators made sure everyone had the best time on the dance floor. Our dancers are a group with unprecedented skills. When they are moving on the dance floor...the guests took pictures! Another trick we have are our novelties. Nothing gets our dancing guests excited like light-up hats, sunglasses, and more.

Each guest had the opportunity to leave the event with our Green Screen Photo Magic framed photo. AJ and his family were able to choose their own custom backgrounds for photos available all evening.
