Cleveland Bar and Bat Mitzvah DJs at Solon Community Center

Cleveland Bar Mitzvah DJs helped host a Bar Mitzvah at Solon Community Center in Solon, Ohio. The DJs provided music and MC services for the event. They also brought in party dancers to motivate the crowd to dance and participate at the party. The Rock The House Photo Magic Green Screen was available for all the guests to have custom photos. Novelties such as fun hats and glasses were also handed out to guests for them to dress up with. Check out the Rock The House website for more information on Bar Mitzvah DJs or other event entertainment.

Rocking The Red Carpet

On March 7, 2010 friends and fans of The Greater Cleveland Film Commission dusted off their tuxes and ball gowns to attend an unforgettable event that celebrated the Academy Awards.

In the company of our friends at Pickwick and Frolic and Party 411, Rock The House staff members also celebrated Road to the Red Carpet.

Guests enjoyed fantastic food and sipped on cocktails; all while watching The Oscars on a silver screen of their own in the Theater of Pickwick and Frolic.

The silent auction offered many prizes that were fancily decorated with the autographs of many Hollywood celebrities, new and old. All the money that was raised went directly to the Film Commission.

What did Rock The House bring to the red carpet? We offered photo favors that allowed party guests to get their snap shot of taken on the Oscar Red Carpet. We also introduced a new interactive activity called, Yoostar, which allowed party-goers to cast themselves in the role of their choice, in their favorite motion picture.

We even ran into some great friends!

One of them, Heidi Baumgart, event planner and blog writer of Heidzillas says:

RTTRC was such a fun event that brought the Oscars to Cleveland. From the moment we hit the red carpet, my friends and I felt like local celebs, hob-knobbing with other Clevelanders. I never enjoyed an awards show so much! Can’t wait for next year’s event!

Brian Fortney, Regional Account Executive at Great Lakes Publishing adds:

From the Red Carpet, to the paparazzi and finally to the Hollywood-themed auction items, I truly felt like a celebrity for the night. Road to The Read Carpet brought another dimension to North Eastern Ohio’s celebration of the Oscars. The promotional photo favors allow me to remember the event 365 days a year and constantly remind me how important it is to have events like this in Cleveland.

Throughout the evening, guests mixed-and-mingled until 12:00am, while they were nibbling on desserts and finishing their final drinks. The Film Commission gave Clevelanders no reason to attend the actual Academy Awards. Fun was had and great memories were made.
